Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • 200g imitation crab sticks (kani)
  • 1 pc medium cucumber, julienned
  • 4 leaves of lettuce
  • ⅓ cup Kewpie mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar


    Cooking Procedures:

    Step 1

    Julienne the cucumber into thin strips.

    Step 2

    Unroll crab sticks and slice into strips or pull apart with your fingers for a stringy texture.

    Step 3

    Mix the dressing: In a bowl, whisk together Kewpie mayo and rice vinegar.

    Step 4

    Toss kani and cucumber in the dressing until evenly coated.

    Step 5

    Serve with fresh lettuce leaves, for added texture and visual appeal. Best enjoyed either as a side dish or atop sushi rice.
