Choco jelly on top of the cream jelly. You should try this recipe of BLACK SAMBO! It is super delicious, promise!

Ingredients You’ll Need:

For Cream Layer:

  • 2 sachets Knox gelatine
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 pack all-purpose cream (250ml)
  • 1 can condensed milk (14oz)

For Chocolate Layer:

  • 2 sachets Knox gelatine
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 pack all-purpose cream (250ml)
  • 1 can condensed milk (14oz)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup


Cooking Instructions:

For Cream Layer:

  1. Dissolve 2 sachets of Knox gelatin to 1 cup of cold water.
  2. In a cooking pot over medium heat, add the all-purpose cream and condensed milk. Mix well.
  3. Add the dissolved gelatin then stir continuously for about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool down a bit.
  5. Transfer to heat-resistant plastic cups or tempered glasses.
  6. Either chill for 2 hours or freeze for 30 minutes to set.

For Chocolate Layer:

  1. Dissolve 2 sachets of Knox gelatin to 1 cup of cold water.
  2. In a cooking pot over medium heat, add the all-purpose cream, condensed milk, and chocolate syrup. Mix well.
  3. Add the dissolved gelatin then stir continuously for about 5 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool down a bit.
  5. Pour the chocolate mixture over the chilled cream layer.
  6. Either chill for 2 hours or freeze for 30 minutes to set.
  7. Top with some chocolate syrup before serving if preferred. Enjoy your black sambo!
