Ingredients You’ll Need:
- 1/2 kg potato
- 12-16 pcs small cubes of cheese
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- cooking oil, for frying
Cooking Procedures:
Step 1
Start by peeling the potatoes then cut them into quarters.
Step 2
Put the potatoes in a pot filled with water. Add 1/2 tsp of salt. Boil the potatoes until tender.
Step 3
Transfer the potatoes to a mixing bowl. Mash the potatoes using a fork or masher if you have one.
Step 4
Add 3 tbsp butter, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, and 2 tbsp flour. Mix and mash until well combined.
Step 5
Get about 1 1/2 tbsp of the mixture then flatten on your clean hand. Put 1 pc cheese cube at the center then shape the mixture into a ball. Dip on the beaten egg then coat with bread crumbs. Repeat this step until all ingredients are consumed.
Step 6
Fry the potato cheese balls until golden brown. Remove from heat then drain the oil using a strainer or paper towels.
Step 7
Serve with ketchup and enjoy your cheesy potato balls!
