Ingredients You’ll Need:

  • 500 g ground pork
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small carrot, finely grated
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 100 g misua noodles
  • 1 small patola (sponge gourd), sliced
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped


Cooking Procedures:

Step 1

In a bowl, combine ground pork, egg, breadcrumbs, carrot, onion, garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into small balls.

Step 2

Bring chicken broth to a boil in a pot. Season with fish sauce.

Step 3

Drop the pork meatballs gently into the boiling broth. Simmer until cooked through, about 10–12 minutes.

Step 4

Add sliced patola and cook for 3–4 minutes until tender.

Step 5

Add misua noodles and simmer for 2–3 minutes until softened.

Step 6
