It’s kinda rare to see vendors selling this kind of hotcake nowadays. This is so tasty, especially with the margarine and sugar on top of it.
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 6 tbsp sugar
- 1 egg
- 235ml milk
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- pinch of salt
- dash of yellow food color
- margarine, for toppings
- sugar, for toppings
Cooking Procedures:
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, combine beaten egg and milk. Mix well.
Step 2
Add flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir.
Step 3
Add cooking oil and yellow food color. Stir until the batter is smooth.
Step 4
Heat cooking oil in a pan over low heat.
Step 5
Pour 1 ladle of batter into the pan. Flip when the surface starts to bubble then cook for another 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 6
Repeat step 5 until you finish all the batter.
Step 7
While the hotcake is still hot, spread margarine on top and sprinkle with sugar. Enjoy your hotcake pinoy!
