Learn how to cook this special chicken dish. You can never go wrong with the combination of chicken, vegetables, and milk. Even the kids will love it!
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- 1/2 kg chicken fillet (breast or thigh part), cut into serving pieces
- 1 can evaporated milk, small (full cream variant)
- 1 can Vienna sausage, sliced
- 1 pc medium carrot, sliced
- 1 pc red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 pc medium potato, sliced
- 1 pc medium garlic
- 1 pc medium onion
- 1 tbsp cornstarch, dissolved in 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Magic Sarap seasoning granules (optional)
Cooking Instructions:
Step 1
In a bowl or container, put the chicken fillet then season with salt, pepper, and seasoning granules. Marinate for about 2-3 hours.
Step 2
Heat cooking oil in a pan. Fry the chicken meat until slightly brown.
Step 3
Move the chicken meat to the side of the pan then add garlic and onion. Sauté until fragrant.
Step 4
Add the carrots, potatoes, red bell pepper, and water. Cover then simmer until the carrots and potatoes are cooked.
Step 5
Add the Vienna sausage, evaporated milk, and dissolved cornstarch. Stir well.
Step 6
Season with salt, pepper, and seasoning granules according to your taste.
Step 7
Serve and enjoy your Creamy Chicken Pastel!
